Engineering Vision, End to End
We develop the building blocks of our lenses ourselves, so optical performance, material behaviour and surgical handling are designed together, not bolted on.
Bi-Aspheric Optical Design
Visual performance begins with an optical design. Our in-house bi-aspheric engineering shapes each lens surface and its distribution of light, neutralizing aberrations and maximizing image quality with a controlled −0.27 µm of spherical aberration to compensate the average corneal aberration. The result is enhanced clarity and contrast, tuned to each lens’s intended range of vision across the platform.
Haptic & Edge Design
Two surfaces, one mission. A polished optic for flawless clarity pairs with a precision-milled, frosted haptic. A continuous 360° sharp edge and a wider 106° contact angle deliver exceptional rotational stability and long-term clarity, protecting the capsular bag from ovalization and helping reduce PCO.
Materials
Quality vision begins at the source: a glistening-free hydrophobic acrylic (Miyata grade 0), precision-shaped by Cryolathing Technology for an exceptionally smooth surface. Its high Abbe number of 50 keeps chromatic aberration low for sharper contrast, while advanced UV protection blocks 99% of UVB and 90% of UVA, and every lens is individually verified for material, design and power.
Phase-Ring™ Technology
Inspired by axicon lenses, our patented Phase-Ring™ Technology tailors the wavefront through a precisely engineered posterior surface, generating a beam-like focal range with uniform intensity along its depth. The result is a single, elongated focus that extends range while preserving optical quality and minimizing visual disturbances. And because it is a tunable platform, the same technology inspires a whole family of lens designs across the range of vision.

VIVIS™ Technology
Variable Intermediate Vision redefines trifocality. Rather than just splitting light, VIVIS™ shapes it through micro-engineering, redistributing energy between intermediate and near so three fixed focal points become one smooth, continuous range for natural, comfortable everyday vision.
